God's love is the best

God’s love is the most beautiful and intimate love in the whole world. I state this from my own experience. It is the calmest, most tender and reassuring love anyone can find with unmatched purity. A love that’s sweeter than honey, yes that is God’s love that I have felt and continue to feel in my life till today.

I have learnt that nobody can ever come close to love you the way God loves you, nobody. Yes, we are all called to imitate God’s love, but being humans, we are prone to err. It is a known fact that everybody who loves you is going to hurt you at some point or the other in your life. But, with God’s love that is not the case. His love can never hurt for his love is perfect in every aspect.

God’s love is unconditional and non-judging. He does not love us by what we do and do not do. He loves us simply because we belong to Him. We are His. And this is such a reassuring feeling that God loves us for all that we are, our failings and weaknesses too. I might hesitate to confide to my best friend my weaknesses, but I know I can tell God everything, even things that I may not be exactly proud of. And after telling I know I can still sleep peacefully knowing that my shortcomings is going to make no difference in His love towards me.

So, even if you could be the worst person in the whole world, yet, God will still love you with the same passion and tenderness. He will wait for you to change and return to Him. His love does not discriminate nor is it demanding; his love is really patient.

It is impossible to comprehend the depth of God’s love with our limited human understanding. But our hearts are capable of receiving and experiencing the beauty of God’s love. It is His love that has sustained me through all the ups and downs of my life.

Nobody can ever separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
